WEDNESDAYS IN LENT
7 PM
SOUP, SALAD & (INTER)SPIRITUALITY

Join us on Wednesdays (3/7 thru 4/5) as we gather for food, fellowship, and thoughtful discussion during the season of Lent.

We will be reading and discussing a book recently published by one of Middle Circle's greatest advocates, Rev. Dr. Susan Strouse, Pastor of First United Lutheran Church.

Susan's book: INTRAfaith Conversation: How Do Christians Talk Among Ourselves About INTERfaith Matters?

  • What does it mean to be a progressive Christian in a multifaith world?

  • How do you wrestle with the Christianity you were raised with and are continually influenced by, yet no longer believe in?

  • How do you foster a spirituality that is both deep and wide?

Each session will be guided by Susan and will begin with a simple meal of soup, salad, bread and blessings. For our discussion time, we’ll talk about a part of the book assigned for that week.
