The Philosophy circle creates a place for friends or strangers to dig into the topics that mean the most in our lives. Each gathering is led by a Middle Circle community member and centers around an age-old philosophical question. Exploring these topics triggers our curiosities and helps us connect more deeply to our wider community and world.

The Nature of Ethics
On what basis can we define ethical/non-ethical actions? What constitutes and ethical life? Are ethics completely individual or do they change depending on your community? Is ethics based on intentions or outcomes? Utilitarianism?
